Pregnancy Options

Parenting is a life-giving option.

You may not have planned this pregnancy but that doesn’t mean you can’t be a successful parent.  By choosing to parent, you will be shaping the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of your child from infancy to adulthood. As with all other aspects of life, parenting has its rewards and challenges.   With a support system and the right tools, you can be a successful parent to your child.

We offer classes for early pregnancy and parenting to equip you to be confident and successful in your parenting.  We can also help you with community support referrals and resources.

Adoption Information

If you’re not ready to parent, you can still give your baby the gift of life by choosing adoption.  Developing an adoption plan empowers you to create a positive future for yourself and your child. You may be surprised to learn that you can select the parents who would raise your child and that you may have some level of ongoing relationship with your child, if you wish.  Embracing Options strives to provide thorough, accurate information about adoption as one of your life-affirming options. Only you know what is best for you and your baby.

Abortion Education

Before you visit an abortion clinic or provider, we strongly encourage you to ask yourself these important questions:

Am I pregnant?

Pregnancy tests are not always accurate. An ultrasound can tell if the baby has a heartbeat and how far along you are.

Do I understand the potential risks?

Every medical procedure, including abortion, carries the risk of complications.  You have the legal right to be informed about the type of procedure you will receive, as well as any potential complications.  Ask as many questions as you need to make sure you understand all that is involved physically and emotionally.

Do I have an STD?

Any surgical procedure can be complicated by infection.  You may be carrying a STI and not know it because they often do not have symptoms.

Have I considered alternatives to abortion?

Abortion may seem like the best fit for your current circumstances, but learning about other options you have is a good idea.  Some women who initially consider abortion are ultimately delighted to be parenting a child.  Others who are not comfortable choosing abortion but are not ready to raise a child, make an adoption plan.

We can help you get the answers to your questions.
